  • Watershed Committee of the Ozarks is dedicated to providing hands on, place-based learning opportunities for those of all ages. Annually we host nearly 10,000 field trip participants at Valley Water Mill Park, a 100-acre nature park located just north of Springfield.

    From guided hiking tours to student field trips focused on water chemistry and ecology, as an Education Volunteer you’ll have a variety of activities that you could participate in. This is a great opportunity to help others in our community connect to the outdoors and you can help inspire our community’s youth to become the next generation of scientists and conservationists!
