What we need:
Be among the first to greet our guests with a cheerful smile as you welcome them to the largest, most immersive fish and wildlife attraction in the world. Assist guests by providing genuine Ozarks hospitality and legendary service as you help them locate needed facilities and amenities as you engage them in conversation to build excitement for the adventure that awaits just around the corner!What you may do:
Wayfinders will be stationed at the entrance and throughout the Aquarium or Wildlife Galleries to welcome, direct and engage visitors to different galleries and amenities, provide information on any special events or activities, and generally make the start of their visit easy and exciting. Wayfinders help ensure that everyone has a unique Ozarks experience.
Welcome guests as they enter the Aquarium or Galleries & thank them for coming
Direct guests to their favorite animals and other important areas of the Aquarium or Wildlife Galleries (e.g., restrooms, concession stands, gift shop)
Assist guests with information to make their experience world-class.

Us:
Wayfinders will assist the Guest Services/Operations team at Wonders of Wildlife to ensure smooth operations focused on quality, service, and creating enjoyable experiences.
You:Volunteers are able to explore their passions and discover new interests through versatile trainings on conservation, various exhibits, a variety of animals and much more! WOW volunteers also have many first-hand opportunities for unique experiences, retail and ticket benefits, and are celebrated during regular team member events.
Skills & Experience Needed:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Comfortable and confident speaking with the public
Passionate about showcasing our world-class facility and providing excellent customer service
Enjoy meeting new people and starting conversations
Attend trainings and lectures to learn more about conservation and the facility
Ability to alternate standing and sitting for 2-4 hours and to move intermittently throughout the dayAvailability/Time Commitment:
Weekly shifts preferred; Volunteers must maintain an active status consisting of 6 shifts per quarter (3 consecutive months)
