Saturday packing sessions are most often dedicated to filling bags with nutritious, kid-friendly food for Ozarks Food Harvest’s Weekend Backpack Program. The Weekend Backpack Program provides children facing hunger with meals and snacks every weekend of the school year when they might otherwise go without. Volunteers fill thousands of bags each week with 6 meals and 2 snacks for local children experiencing hunger.
This is an assembly line project; standing and closed toe shoes are required.
*While Saturday morning sessions are most often dedicated to building Weekend Backpacks, session projects are determined by distribution needs and subject to change when necessary.
