SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Community Partnership of the Ozarks urgently needs volunteers for its “Every One Counts” campaign, a community-wide effort to capture a vital snapshot of homelessness and help shape future housing and support services.
CPO, along with local partners and volunteers, will canvas streets, shelters, vehicles and abandoned buildings across Greene, Christian and Webster counties on Jan. 28-29. The organization says volunteer participation directly impacts the lives of vulnerable individuals in the community.
Officials stress the importance of ensuring everyone experiencing homelessness is counted during the two-day survey.
