SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – CASA of Southwest Missouri is seeking volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in foster care across the Ozarks.

The organizations provide court advocacy for children in the foster care system. CASA of Southwest Missouri serves Greene, Christian, and Taney counties. Volunteers serve as a voice for children in court proceedings.

Shelby Blakley, training coordinator at CASA of Southwest Missouri, works to connect volunteers with foster children in the area. She discussed the organization with KY3’s Tyler Wayne. Check out the interview above.
