Ongoing Opportunity Categories: Advocacy, Children and Youth, and Sports and Recreation
The On Course For A Cause Golf Tournament directly benefits families in the Springfield community by providing funding to the Y’s School Age Services department’s Financial Assistance Program which lowers childcare fees for those in need. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are willing to solicit sponsorships, teams, and donated auction items. These positions would within a special committee on the School Age Service department’s board of managers. The tournament is scheduled for June 28th, 2021.
In 2019 we served almost 3,000 children through YMCA Before & After School, Summer Day Camp, and Play Days. Our branch also served over 50,000 meals across the Springfield area.
