Volunteers at CMN Hospitals sales will be responsible for totaling customer purchases and collecting payment for those purchases. We accept four types of payment:
• Cash (must be able to appropriately make change)
• Check (must know what information to look for)
• Credit Card (must be trainable on credit card machine – printed instructions will be left for volunteers)
• Payroll Deduction (must know what information to look for)
Volunteers would preferably have computer knowledge/skills to be able to enter each sale transaction into an Excel spreadsheet during down-time at the sale. Volunteers may also on occasion be responsible for selling CMNH merchandise at the check-out table (i.e. apparel, bags, cups, etc.).
