Front Desk Volunteer
Multiple shifts
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pmThe Front Desk Volunteer greets visitors, answer phones, and maintains a welcoming environment of the lobby. The volunteer must commit to a regular schedule with a minimum of 2 hours per week. The Front Desk Volunteer is supervised by the Office Coordinator.
Requirements:

• Register with the Family Care Safety Registry through the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services: https://health.mo.gov/safety/fcsr/Tasks:
• Answer phones and direct callers
• Greet and assist visitors
• Provide information about homeless services and shelters
• Receive and document donations
• Collect rent payments and complete rent receipts
• Sort mail and other clerical duties
• Clean and sanitize the front desk and lobby
• Other tasks assigned by the Office CoordinatorAbilities and Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to clearly speak and/or hear via the phone or in person.
• Communicate effectively to visitors and clients
• Ability to learn and adapt to expected processes of The Kitchen, Inc.
• Ability to sit, stand/or be mobile around the front desk to assist donors, visitors, clients as needed. Sitting or standing for long periods of time is not required as this person may stand/sit by choice in most situations.No Records Found

Prepare and deliver 40 individually packaged, ready-to-eat meals for youth on a scheduled day.
