Serenity Honors was started to further the Veteran outreach of 10 year old Serenity. For almost 6 years she has been meeting & helping our Veterans. Showing them the Respect & Honor they have earned, all with a smile, a friendly handshake, a “THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE”, and sometimes a huge hug is included too.
The #1 purpose of Serenity & Serenity Honors is to help those Veterans in need and to help her generation connect with our older Veteran generation. We have been a 501c3 public charity for less than one year now.
Mission #1, in this first year, was The Freedom Food Drive for Veterans. Serenity able to inspire our community to help raise needed food for our Veterans. The 4.1 ton goal was not only met, but smashed. Almost 8 tons of food was raised & donated to our local Veterans in need of assistance.
Mission #2 was issuing a $1000 higher education scholarship to the daughter of an Air Force Captain. Ella T. was from Republic , Mo
Mission #3 is to bring THE WALL THAT HEALS to our community & our Vietnam Veterans.
Future plans are to expand our food drive for Veterans and the scholarships available.
