VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ASAP ~ On Veterans Day 1996, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) unveiled a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., designed to travel to communities throughout the United States. Since its dedication, The Wall That Heals has been displayed at nearly 700 communities throughout the nation, spreading the Memorial’s healing legacy to millions.
This is a FREE exhibit for our Veterans & our community. Once open on Wed. (June 7) it will not close until Sun. (June 11) – it will be open 24 hours.
Volunteers are needed for this entire time. Shifts are 4 hours each. Duties include greeting visitors, finding names on The Wall, helping to make name “rubbings”, assisting visitors w/ information & questions. Some positions require standing & walking, others are seated positions. All are welcome.
