Watching Over Whiskers is a 501(c)3 no kill feline rescue that supports routine vetting to help place kitties in loving homes, as well as Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance and emergency vet assistance for kitties on a case by case basis. We NEED fosters, event volunteers and TNR volunteers!

Skills Requested: Must be able to lift 20 pounds and bend to set traps, feed, etc. Must also have reliable transportation - preferably an SUV to haul the kitties in traps to the vet and back.Requirements & Commitment: Would learn from our TNR coordinator how to assess a colony and do the actual trapping and transport to the vet office working with us for that colony.We are seeking TNR (Trap Neuter Return) volunteers willing to help care for and trap feline colonies in the Southwest Missouri area one colony at a time. Skills Requested: Preferably have some experience with felines but if not we can train as well on techniques if anything special is needed. We work with many great vets in the area!Requirements & Commitment: Your animals must be fixed and current on vaccines - kitties must be inside only and tested for FeLV/FIV.
