Camp Barnabas, in southwest Missouri, provides a transformative week of adventures to individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Within its heart, dedicated medical professionals play a vital part in our mission. Our Med Team’s compassionate and diligent support ensures Campers and volunteers receive loving care, grants parents peace of mind, and allows everyone to wholeheartedly embrace the pure and boundless joy of camp. Dedicated medical professionals play an integral role in making Camp Barnabas happen every summer for hundreds of Campers with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The volunteers we have over summer include Physicians, Nurse/NP/PA, Well House Assistant, and Mental Health Professionals. We are in need of Nurses to serve on our Medical Team this summer! Volunteer nurses keep our Campers, Missionaries, and Staff well cared for each week by distributing daily medications and responding to Camper/Missionary medical concerns. Nurses must have an unencumbered, compact state license. The current weeks that we need Nurse volunteers are weeks 1, 2, 4, and 5. See the dates of each week listed below. Please contact our contact our Health Services Director, Brittany Kramer at [email protected] for more information.
